We bought a set of these for our DI - as we had troubles with the ones we had on the AB Dick where the pressman neglected to block the outer 2 and it caused one to break I decided to mount only 2 on the DI.
On the DI I ran into a different problem, the units were of such a close fit they rubbed against the static eliminator. The units are wrapped with a plastic sleeve that blocks air holes and sports the bigfood label so once these are perforated the unit no longer works.
I contacted the manufacturer and was advised it would be okay to grind the rounded ends off but they would then need to be taped up to prevent air leaks. Removing the BigFoot units I carefully clamped them in a vice which had been protected with cloth and ground the curved ends flat, I used vinyl sign material we had in the shop to accomplish the sealing. The vinyl sign material is thin and conforms well to to the units blocking any machining holes that could let air in.
They no longer look as pretty as the ones pictured but this did fix them so they would work and not interfere with the static eliminator on the Heidelberg DI.
I can't say if this is a problem on the 46 but I was of the impression this is the same feeder so be warned if you have the same static eliminator that your bigfoots need to be square or you will need to make the above modification.
