Maxima Impression Springs are direct bolt-up replacements for the weaker factory impression springs.....We recommend these springs be installed by a factory trained Service Technician....Installation should take no more than one hour....Stronger impression pressure permits uniform transfer of solids and halftones when printing on textured and pourous stocks without over-inking the plate....Maxima Springs will allow your press to produce a much finer detail on all stocks while using 20 to 25% less ink....NOTE: To enhance the print image of your small Ryobi and Itek duplicator presses, you can use a 3-ply blanket with a .035" inch thick under-blanket packer rather than the mushy 5-ply....With a properly packed 3-ply blanket, your plate to blanket pressure is set 30% lighter than is required with a 5-ply....This will improve finished image fidelity, reduce plate stress, improve ink release when printing large coverage, especially with coated stock....Springs fit all Ryobi 2800, 3200, 3200MCD, and Itek 960, 975, and 985 model presses...
